....trying to solve this movie quiz while watching Chelsea vs Newcastle match. With a bit of help from Anna and my colleagues, about 30 movie pictures have been identified.....still got halfway to go though.....honestly I'm not a movie freak.

The game is finally over. Chelsea upsets the opponent with 4 goals..

Buri Tara, a Thai Bar & Restaurant by the Chaophraya river filled with tropical plants, wooden chairs and low sofa possesses a resort style theme. I cannot find a better place than this to celebrate a long weekend with my colleagues. Thanks to the King for his birthday tomorrow which gives us a public holiday on Monday.

Just got a message from my friend in Dallas, he watched the game Mavericks hosting the Rockets LIVE last night. Gee....I wish I was there! Dirk was on fire with an outrageous performance of 53 pts (career-high too)!   Well done!

This is my first entry since I registered on Xanga last month. This place indeed serves a good platform for me to update my relatives and friends on what has been going on with my life in Bangkok, Thailand.

Well, I've been here in Thailand for 5 months already....so far I don't feel lonely or homesick, in fact it's quite a enjoyable life I'm having.

Leisure, I have more time to travel around. I had several bunches of mates coming to visit me, normally I would give them a one-day Bangkok tour which I have pioneered. No doubt I'm an experienced tour-guide now.

At work, colleagues are extremely friendly and nice to me, although they are a bit shy to speak in English which essentially creates some communication barriers. Why? Obviously I don't speak Thai, yet I'm learning. At least I can make some simple orders on the menu.

As for the weather, I guess no one is aware of a winter season in Thailand. Temperature remains high in daytime, but what impresses me is that it gets much cooler in the morning or at night.

So, what's going on with me these days? Not to mention about the busy worklife on weekdays, feasting on a novel by the poolside has become my recent weekend hobby. For some reason I'm hooked on John Grisham's deliveries, now nibbling on "The King of Torts" after "The Runaway Jury" was finished few days ago.
